It would be great if we could measure motivation—it’s what’s giving me confidence for tonight. We saw how well GT performed early in the season after we signed Valle. We also know how much the Orcs were driven to get a win at Ibrox after months of online humiliation and losing the cup, while our motivation dropped with such a huge lead at the top. Some of our players even seemed to avoid risking injuries chasing points we didn’t need.

Tonight, though, is huge—almost career-defining for some. Calmac, for example, might never qualify for a group stage again if we fail tonight. Any defeat will land squarely on the shoulders of him and other team leaders. On the flip side, Young Boys are already out and have nothing to play for. Are they really going to put their bodies on the line on a cold Scottish night when it doesn’t matter to them?

We’ll outplay them, especially getting the ball into the box. I’m predicting a 3–1 win with plenty of missed chances along the way. Hail Hail Mary

Hopefully the planets are aligned tomorrow night for a Celtic win. 🙏

The ending has been cut off. Otherwise excellent analysis of the game thought Trusty was also more clear cut in defensive positions under pressure putting the ball out rather than what he was attempting in Dundee

Apologies for any confusion or inconvenience.
