Laura is such a wonderful asset to this team, so glad she came on board.

When a team’s shape and (lack of) movement is that of a team in a table football game then Yang can run past them and Engels can pass through them. (Though for some reason I think Engels will actually work out, although I don’t know exactly how.)

It’s been a great first half of the season for both Celtic and THB (thanks Alan, James, Laura, Martin, Andrew and anyone else behind the scenes).

Let’s hope we get off to a great start on Jan 2nd.

Thanks team!

Could Yang be converted into a Frimpong style fullback? Just to keep the fun going and give scottish hammer throwers somewhere to shell the ball?

That’s not as outlandish as some may think

His defensive numbers are pretty good

Would be good to see some creative thinking!

I'd like to see Idah through the centre at some point with Kyogo on wing. Man City and Japan see him in that role but we refuse to play Kyogo on wing yet we persist with Jang there.

Frimpong has done ok being a full back whose super power is advancing the ball?

Thanks for all the great content people!

What a season!

-52-4 aggregate in the league. FOUR! Kasper and CCV et al 👏👏👏

-2 losses and 3 trophies in 2024.

-2 draws (1 at home, 1 away) and ZERO losses so far this season

-19 first XI (or not far off) standard players.

If we don't lose anyone we'd miss and bring in 3-5 good standard players we are laughing. Sort a:

- left back... or 3 if we do get KT we will need a Taylor and a Valle as cover for injury and managing him so he doesn't get injured

-a reliable 3rd striker

-2 first XI standard wingers

- I'd like a sitter and a centre-back too but I'm just being greedy

-getting shot of Welsh, Nawrocki, Holm, Palma 💩 (mibbies Yang too)

If we do that, it's a wonderful window. Just a pity any new player won't be available for the rest of the league section of the UCL (they are available if we qualify for the playoffs)

Whoever is on Laura's back, stop it! GO lift some weights, go for a walk, smash a video game controller, write a deeply impressed with ink angry journal. Get your aggression out on a thing not a person, especially someone on our side. Laura, we appreciate you.

Allan, Juco, Laura, Martin... the guests <figuratively stands and applauds> 🙌🏆🍀💚⬜🟩⬜🟩⬜🟩⬜🟩💪 HH

Also re Left Back, whether we bring KT back or not, why has Scales not being considered there with Trusty in CH position. Scales was brought to club as a Left Back.

Been evident for weeks that McGregor and the “inverted” Taylor inhibit (particularly) Engels. This may be better understood from the stands, which enables better appreciation of space on the pitch. There is (naturally) a deference to Calmac when he plays which funnels the play through him. Taylor’s left-to-right slaloms confuse the midfield; Valle likely has a higher ceiling going forward but he currently brings more cohesion to the team. There is big potential to my mind in the possibilities for midfield re-balance with Bernardo and Engels and at LFB with Valle (or KT 😂)
