We are thrilled to welcome Enda Coll back to the podcast for a special holiday episode (no one wanted to revisit that shocking game at Tannadice anyway, right?!).
Liked the point on data just measuring stuff we already knew about - I always think this with xG and the old saying that as long as a striker is getting to chances that's the main thing, and not if they're always taking them. That always seemed mad to me growing up, but aligns to the now common xG-based view that finishing is mostly random, and chance quality is the important thing.
Come back permanently Enda, go on you know you want to!
Brilliant-great to listen to the 3 of you together again.
Cheers guys, enjoyed this.
